End-of-life doula mentoring is a valuable resource for any doula who is just beginning or already on their way, and is seeking to improve, continue learning, or expand their offerings. It's difficult to take the next step after training - we are here to help you develop your ideas, get motivated, and find your niche in your community. The world needs you; let us help you get going today!
Group Seminars consist of four (4) sessions with two facilitators and up to four participants. The program is designed to mentor participants as they start or continue their journey of working as an EOL doula, including how to overcome roadblocks and move your business forward. Topics and assignments include:
We also offer Individual Consultations. Up to 90 minute session with email follow-up to discuss your specific goals and next steps. Topics include those listed above as well as:

- Isolating the top three EOLD services you want to offer
- Selecting the business structure that’s right for you
- Discussing your business intentions with an attorney, business consultant, insurance agent, financial advisor/accountant, or other professional(s) for guidance
- Getting your own advance care, estate plan and final wishes in order
- Determining if you’re hesitant, stuck or encountering a major roadblock in this process and how to move forward or change direction
- Creating and practicing your elevator pitch
We also offer Individual Consultations. Up to 90 minute session with email follow-up to discuss your specific goals and next steps. Topics include those listed above as well as:
- How to start a business and find clients, what to charge, maintaining professional boundaries, etc.
- Review of specific cases, staying within the Doula Scope of Practice
- Paperwork, including client agreements, intake interviews, resources
- Creating your online presence, website, handouts, and community presentations
- Approaching and working with hospice and palliative care organizations, forming a doula collective
