As to the technical issues, here's how it's going down. In the backend build, any text that is cut and pasted from somewhere else, whether inside the site or from a word document, causes one of two responses. Most often, the paste triggers an entirely white page with an error message that turns into a small white loading box on a black screen. That box spins for a while, then adds an x in the upper right corner. At that point, the only option is to back up to the dashboard page and come in again. Anything that had been loaded up to that point will be gone. Attempts to continuously publish in order not to lose everything have mostly been unsuccessful.
